Ah Craigslist...my husband can seem to find me just about anything on there. Including this $5.00 table that I was using for shows.
Alas, I was in need of a new sewing table and rather than buying a table for hundreds of dollars- might as well get creative and create my own retro table to match the decor of my work space. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi28j9XDzU2Sbl5p9F3zoEFAiABllT72ctJQgDLG0TwmabfJXN-Y7H6jJv9p-WAEIB_QlEQn1P5LaCCDa3NTYnTDO9Ai6agzZw5Zqwd5rV8ASw5PlQ4rX0q-R6_KHWBHv6wTra4lb9duII/s640/SAM_6781.png)

Using the Aqua color from Rustoleum's Painters Touch Collection, I painted the legs of the table.
Then I lightly sanded the top of the table to make it smooth and level. Then I bought 1 1/2" yards of Retro Cherry Print Oil Cloth that I stretched, stapled then nailed to recover the top of the table.
If you are following my Workspace Make-Over, tomorrow you will see how I reorganized my thread. By the end of the week, the whole space will be complete.
