Hello, I'm Amanda the woman behind Kaleidoscope of Colors.
I was born and raised in the Northwest, where I graduated with a bachelors in Elementary Education. From a very early age I helped my mother sew, which lead to me sewing. During high school I was making my own clothes including my prom dress and in college I was creating quilts in my dorm room. My father is a builder so I have a background in hardware, building and painting. My passion is working with my hands and creating.

The name of my blog:
Kaleidoscope of Colors was the name of my Etsy shop and I kept it for my blog for consistency.
Because I do so many different things I felt the name "Kaleidoscope of Colors" encompassed all of the different things together in a beautiful "color" combination.
