I like to recycle, make something new again or re-purpose.
So when my best friend wanted some chalk boards for her darling children, I couldn't help myself in making some chalk boards that were durable and cost effective.

I first started with a coffee table, something that was large for a lot of kids to use, especially for tic-tac-toe games or drawing roads for toy cars.
It was a hit!! Not to mention they had me sitting with them for quite some time drawing flowers, skateboards and bugs.
Next was an easel that I picked up for $2.00!
I couldn't believe it, it was perfect for my little Samantha.
She just loves to create her own masterpieces.
I hope this post helps you create your own chalk board canvas for your little artist.

I will be entering this in the Chalk Paint Challenge at the CSI Project.
Great ideas! :)
