This week's project comes right off of my "For Samantha" board. She is my best friend's only daughter and I am now referred to as her Fairy Godmother because bibbity bobbity she has whatever it is she wants because I will give it to her and by-golly I will make her any outfit her heart desires.

I love to spoil her.

Her two older brothers are playing Pee Wee football and I just had to make her something to match the team spirit but with the pink PIZAZZ she deserves.

I used this awesome FOOTBALL TEMPLATE from freekidscrafts.com, but only altered it by adding my own free handed football stitches. I picked up this pink cotton/poly blend shirt at Michaels for less than $2.00.

Using sew able Heat Bond, I traced template onto heat bond paper. Following directions on package by ironing onto brown polka dots for football body and white for accents.

Afterwards, using an applique stitch on my sewing machine, I go around all edges to give it a finished look.

Cute little skirt I bought to match and she is ready for game time...or play time!!

I just love her.
