In a mixer, cream together the shortening, sugar and brown sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the peanut butter, milk and vanilla.

Combine the flour and baking soda, stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in rolled oats and chocolate chips.

Drop cookies onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes or until lightly toasted on the edges. Remove from baking sheet and cool on racks.
From Google
My husband attempted some food last week in the kitchen. When he is cooking it's like he is navigating in uncharted territory. Bless his heart!

I have become the 1950's domestic diva because he says that I make cooking look so easy and everything tastes so delicious. *Could he be sucking up OF COURSE!!

So this recipe is for My Love because he loves cookies, he loves peanut butter and he loves me.

Happy Baking!
