3/4 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup packed Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 cup Peanut Butter
1/4 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 3/4 Flour
3/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 cups Rolled Oats
2 cups Chocolate Chips
Preheat the oven to 350*.
In a mixer, cream together the shortening, sugar and brown sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the peanut butter, milk and vanilla.
Combine the flour and baking soda, stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in rolled oats and chocolate chips.
Drop cookies onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes or until lightly toasted on the edges. Remove from baking sheet and cool on racks.

I have become the 1950's domestic diva because he says that I make cooking look so easy and everything tastes so delicious. *Could he be sucking up OF COURSE!!
