This year I am going to try to keep up with updating each week, in the same way that I did in the past with a Friday five. Time is flying by and recently we almost lost all of our photos, so I thought it would be a good idea to keep my blog updated with photos, so that not all is lost and we would have the dates they were taken. Hubs said it would be good for the boys to look back on too.
This last week we went to a place called Reyes Creek, it was a bit of a drive but it was beautiful. It was a wooded area and it had a creek that was full from all the rain we've been having lately.
I've been sticking to making our cookies once a week with Everett. This week we actually made two different recipes, it is over-achieving but we wanted to try a breakfast bar recipe too.
This week we successfully made Monster Cookies from A Dash of Sanity and Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bars from Jamie Cooks It Up.
Other exciting news, Miles got his first haircut this week. He loved it!! Everett hates getting his haircut, but Miles sat nicely with the cape on and got excited when the hairdresser was rubbing his head. His hair is so blond you really couldn't see that he had over two inches of hair on the sides of his head.
We finished off the week with a soggy trip to the park in between rain storms. We have gotten so much rain.
It was a treat to have a glow bath. We don't do it very often but when we do it is so much fun. We get glow sticks from the dollar store and crack them all so that the entire tub is glowing. Lots of bubbles and some fun music. If you haven't seen the Toy Story Short Partysaurus Rex, you should. It is where we got the idea.
Such an eventful week for us. Getting ready for a long weekend and some more adventures. Miles will be ten months on Saturday.
