Three Weeks of Friday Five

It has been forever since I posted so this is going to be jam packed. We finished June with a bang and then we greeted July with a 3rd birthday and some fireworks.

Dad found a Touch a Truck event for the boys. We were able to see and climb on tons of trucks, buses, and emergency vehicles. S.W.A.T. team, Army and even a wrecking ball truck were there. I think Everett enjoyed the school bus the most.

We've been having lots of fun. We spend lots of time out in the backyard swimming, playing on the swing set Dad built, playing tee ball and eating lots of Popsicles and otter pops. Also enjoy checking out the animals at Petsmart, playing with play doh, going with Dad to the hardware store and eating pizza, brownies and cookies.

Everett turned 3 at the beginning of July. Earlier in June we had our photographer, Emily Kathryn Photography take his 3 year photos at Travel Town Museum at Griffith Park in Los Angeles.

Everett had a wonderful birthday! He woke up to find a new train in the living room with balloons. Then he was able to pick up Grandma and Grandpa from the airport and from there went to ride the mini trains with Uncle Brandon.

We had a small barbecue for him at home with family and friends. Everett enjoyed swimming, his train birthday cake and fireworks.

But the party did not end there...we had an awesome 4th of July where we hung a huge flag so everyone could enjoy it.

This summer is going by so quickly and all this fun and excitement is really exhausting.

But we still have the energy to run. We still kept up with our Family 5k on Wednesday nights. Mom has been racking up more miles, she participated in a Fourth of July 10k.

Lots to look forward to for the month of July. The temperature is heating up so we will be spending more time in the water. Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend and hoping you had a wonderful 4th of July.
