What you need to create each jar:

Each jar you will need some bakers twine, holly garland for the top and gift tag.

Tiny Artist:
pint mason jar

To make the crayons fit in the jar, I took them out of the box and wrapped bakers twine around them to hold the crayons together. The sidewalk chalk just slides in on the sides.

Novice Artist:
Quart Size Mason Jar

The markers were taken out of the box and tied with bakers twine, the crayons fit in the jar and sat in the center. I was able to put two small pots of the washable kids paint inside the jar.

The Professional Artist:
Gallon Size Mason Jar
Small Sketch Book

The Super Tip Washable markers were gently taken out of the box but I kept them in the plastic that held them in order. I wrapped glitter washi tape on the outside to hold them in place, it made it really neat to go around the inside of the jar. Everything stayed in their packages except for the Washable Kids Paint Pots, those were stacked inside the middle.

To finish: wrap the festive garland around the outside of the jar lid. I found this festive berry garland at Joann's for $2.99 a spool and you don't use the whole thing. You can use your own gift tags, or stamp your own like I did with a mason jar stamp (Found at Michael's) and attach with bakers twine.

These were so much fun to create and once I started putting them together I thought of a few other items you could include:
stickers
coloring books
glitter
and small paper scraps.

Let me know if you have any questions!

~Amanda
