East Coast after Hurricane Sandy

Mr. KofColors spent nearly four weeks on the East Coast for Hurricane Sandy relief. When his work was over, I flew over to bring him home...and spent the weekend in both Philadelphia and New York City. 

This was my first time on the Northern East Coast. After living in Arizona and California for the last six years, my blood has significantly warmed up. So arriving in chilly weather was a huge difference from what I was used to. 

We seemed to walk everywhere, Central Park, Downtown, Times Square and Rockefeller Center. We even took a ride on a bike taxi.

We also spent a day in Philadelphia, PA. We were there to see a concert of Ray Lamontagne. It was like a history lesson just walking around, the buildings were beautiful and the Philly cheese steak sandwiches were delicious.

Just thought I would share with you my first NYC/Philadelphia experience. Thinking that I might want to run the NYC marathon now.
