Chicken Sewing Crafts

My mom loves chickens.

So while I was pregnant I worked on a lot of smaller projects. Two of which were "chicken" themed for my mother's kitchen.
The first was a set of towels that I embroidered for her. I've been doing a lot of embroidery because I did a lot of sitting and resting during the last part of my pregnancy and even more after he arrived.

The set is from a pattern called Rise and Shine from Yesterday's Charm, you can find the set HERE. There are more than just three prints, but these are the ones I completed for her.

The second project was a free patterned that I pinned. It was a  Quilted Chicken Bread Basket Cover from Marni Weaver at Haberdasheryfun, you can find it HERE

It was really cute and fun to create however I was very pregnant and losing my mind and when I made this...I quilted to right sides and not a left. So, rethinking the project I cut down the chicken to make a little mini version. Overall it is a wonderful pattern/project.

So she's a mini chicken.

I hope this inspires you to make some Chicken Sewing Crafts, if you have another chicken craft or can suggest another project. Please let me know! My mom really loves chickens.
