I have been thinking about doing a showcase on some of the awesome treasure I find when I hit the local flea markets and thrift stores.
And it is about time I start, hence, let this be the first edition of Thursday's Treasures. *Insert dramatic music!
Wednesday is the day that I always go to the local Flea Market/Swap meet. It has gotten rather large so I really try to be there early. But I had a late start this week because I have been busy working on a new dresser for my bedroom. (see below) Even though I did get there later than usual, still came home with some really great stuff.
And really this amazing dresser would be a "treasure" because I scored it off of Craigslist for $80.00, and it has an attaching mirror too! I sanded it down and stained it a dark ebony.
Anyways back to my finds... A few things I really was looking for would have been the bundt pan and a book about gardening. ALWAYS, ALWAYS looking for sewing notions and fabric.
So be looking forward to some blog posts showing what I create with these great finds. I can tell you that the bundt cake pan was already used today and it is delicious.
