This Morning I Ran My First Marathon...

Depending on the time you are reading this~ I am probably still running. 

Start time is an early 5:30 a.m.(EST) at the 20th Anniversary Disney World Marathon. 

I am running my first marathon dressed as Disney's 1989 movie "The Little Mermaid". *Costume made by myself and I did dye my hair red to complete the look. Mr. KofColors said "You only run through Disney World once, do it right!"

I had to build my own using a camp table and a pink flat sheet for my princess, Samantha. (Less than $10.00 to complete).

I am starting off 2013 with a week of Disney themed projects. Why? Because I am going to be RUNNING through both Disney World and Disney Land this month and what better way of celebrating than by sharing some "mouse" love.

Taking part in the local Santa to the Sea Half Marathon was a part of my planned marathon training...deciding to dress like Will Ferrell's "Elf" was the fun part. 

Pinterest Disaster: Turkey Turnovers

Normally when I try recipes from Pinterest, they are amazing. However, this was the first one that was a complete bust!

You can find the Turkey Pot Pie Turnover recipe I tried in my "When Autumn Leaves are Falling" Pinterest board. If you have better luck OR have a fool proof recipe I would LOVE to know. 

East Coast after Hurricane Sandy

Mr. KofColors spent nearly four weeks on the East Coast for Hurricane Sandy relief. When his work was over, I flew over to bring him home...and spent the weekend in both Philadelphia and New York City.
